Tipperary Crystal is an Irish design company. It was founded by master craftsmen Joe Foley and John Meagher in 1988. They established a team of craft workers and designers.
The company was taken over by its current Managing Director, Declan Fearon in 2005.[1]
The full Tipperary Crystal range includes crystal and glassware, ceramics, textiles, scented candles and jewellery. Last year (2008) Tipperary Crystal sold over 1,500 chandeliers. Despite the company name, the vast majority of the crystal is made in Slovenia by Rogaska Ltd.
Each season some of Ireland’s best-known designers create collections for Tipperary Crystal. They craft new products and ranges which reflect their individual styles and contemporary design trends.
